Terms of Service

By installing Otonom Medyam or starting a subscription you agree to these terms. They are long but written plainly; if a clause isn't clear, write to us and we'll explain it.

Last updated: 31 July 2026 · Otonom Medyam

1Parties and scope

This agreement is between Emre Şahin SEYREL (şahıs işletmesi)(«we», «Otonom Medyam») and the person or organisation installing the software or purchasing a subscription («you»).

It covers the Otonom Medyam desktop software, your licence key, updates, the documentation and the otonommedyam.com website.

2What the software is — and is not

Otonom Medyam is desktop software that runs on your computer. It automates the video production line from topic research through scripting, narration and editing to publishing on YouTube.

It is not a cloud service. We do not produce, store or publish your videos. Our servers only verify that your licence is valid and serve update files.

The software connects to AI and narration services using your own API keys. You pay those providers directly; we are not in the middle and take no share of what you spend.

3Licence grant

For as long as your subscription is active, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to use the software. Ownership and all intellectual property remain with us.

Two limits vary by plan:

PlanChannels managed at onceComputers you may install on
Trial11
Solo22
Creator53
StudioUnlimited5

There is no limit on how many videos you produce. When you change computers, choosing Remove key in the panel releases the installation slot; installations that stop checking in stop counting after a while anyway.

You agree not to:

  • Share, sell, rent or otherwise make your licence key available to more than one user.
  • Disable or circumvent the licence check, or modify the software in order to do so.
  • Redistribute the software in whole or in part, or embed it in a product of your own.

4Free trial

The trial lasts 7 days, allows you to manage 1 channel and requires no credit card. It is not a restricted demo: it produces real videos and really publishes to YouTube.

When the period ends, new production stops. It does not convert into a paid subscription and nothing is expected of you. One trial per email address.

5Subscription, payment and renewal

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd. Paddle is the merchant of record for this sale: it issues the invoice, calculates the tax, and holds your card details — we never see them.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the period you chose (monthly or yearly). You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and the software keeps working in full until then.

We may change prices. An existing subscriber is notified by email at least 30 days before an increase, and it applies only from the following renewal. If you don't accept it, cancelling before that date is enough.

For refunds see the Refund Policy; the first 14 days are covered unconditionally.

6Third-party services and costs

To do its job the software connects to outside services using your accounts: language model providers, narration services, Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, the YouTube Data API and any other sources you select.

  • Your relationship with those services is between you and them; we are not a party to it.
  • Usage fees, quotas and limits are yours. We are not responsible for a provider's invoice, a quota you exceed, or an account they close.
  • If a service shuts down, changes its pricing or breaks its interface, we will make reasonable efforts to adapt the software — but we cannot guarantee a third party's decisions.

7The content is yours — and so is the responsibility

The videos, scripts and images the software produces belong to you. We claim no rights over them and place no conditions on how you use them.

For the same reason, responsibility sits with you. You are the publisher of every video you upload, which means:

  • Licensing and attribution of source media. The software can download images from sources such as Wikimedia Commons. Many of those require the author and licence to be credited when used (for example CC BY, CC BY-SA). Adding that credit to your video description is your responsibility.
  • Platform rules. YouTube's terms of service, community guidelines and monetisation policies — particularly those covering repetitive or mass-produced content — apply to your channel.
  • Accuracy. AI makes mistakes, invents things and repeats outdated information. The quality gate reduces this; it does not eliminate it. Checking what you publish is on you.
  • Other people's rights. Copyright, trademarks, personality rights, and consent for voice cloning — see Voice Cloning Consent.

We make no earnings claims. How many views you get, whether your channel is accepted into a monetisation programme, and how much you earn are outside our control. Nothing we publish should be read as a promise about any of it.

8Prohibited uses

You may not use the software to:

  • Make a real person appear to say something they did not say, or imitate anyone's voice or likeness without their consent.
  • Spread misleading medical, financial or legal advice, or manipulate electoral processes.
  • Produce hate speech, harassment, child sexual abuse material, or any other content unlawful in your jurisdiction.
  • Generate spam at a scale that systematically violates a platform's rules.
  • Use material that infringes third-party copyright without permission.

9Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a licence if payment fails, if a key is shared, or if clause 8 is breached. Except in serious cases we write to you first and give you a reasonable period to put it right.

Suspension only stops new production. The panel still opens; your channels, settings and previously produced videos remain on your own disk. We do not delete your data — we could not, because we never had it.

You may cancel your subscription and uninstall the software at any time.

10Updates and support

All updates are included for as long as your subscription runs; we do not charge for versions. Updates are optional, but bear in mind that older versions can stop working when third-party services change.

Support is by email: destek@otonommedyam.com. We do not commit to a specific response time; we aim to reply within a reasonable period on business days.

Anything we say about future features is a statement of intent, not a commitment.

11Disclaimer of warranties

The software is provided «as is». We do not warrant that it will run without interruption, that it is free of defects, or that it fits a particular purpose. It runs on your hardware, your operating system and the third-party services you choose — none of which are under our control.

This clause does not remove any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

12Limitation of liability

Our liability for any damages is limited in all cases to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event.

We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profit, lost views, channel termination, reputational harm or data loss. Backing up your own data is your responsibility.

Liability for wilful misconduct and gross negligence, and any liability that cannot be limited by law, is unaffected.

13Personal data

Which data leaves your computer and which never does is set out clause by clause in the Privacy Policy. In short: your scripts, your videos, your voice recordings and your API keys never reach us.

14Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to your registered address at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the software after that notice means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel.

15Governing law and language

This agreement is governed by the law of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Tekirdağ, Türkiye have jurisdiction.

If you are acting as a consumer, the mandatory rights granted by the consumer legislation of your own country, and your right to apply to the competent consumer bodies, are unaffected.

A Turkish version of this text also exists. In the event of any conflict between the two, the Turkish version prevails — the contracting party is established in Türkiye and the competent court is a Turkish court.
